About Under Armour
It started with a simple plan to make a superior T-shirt. A shirt that provided compression and wicked perspiration off your skin rather than absorb it. A shirt that worked with your body to regulate temperature and enhance performance. Founded in 1996 by former University of Maryland football player Kevin Plank,

Under Armour is the originator of performance apparel - gear engineered to keep athletes cool, dry, and light throughout the course of a game, practice, or workout. The technology behind Under Armour's diverse product assortment for men, women, and youth is complex, but the program for reaping the benefits is simple: wear HeatGear when it's hot, ColdGear when it's cold, and AllSeasonGear between the extremes. Under Armour's mission is to make all athletes better through passion, science, and the relentless pursuit of innovation. Every Under Armour product is doing something for you; it's making you better.

Good Liner Gloves with Exceptions4
These are Good Liner Gloves!
But please take note:
They were meant to be used for Lining the Inside of Durable Outer Wear Gloves or Shells
To "trap" body warmth.
These liners by themselves, are NOT Waterproof, nor Windproof, nor Grippers nor for Rugged use.
Layers of Poly, Fleece and the like, help to keep in warmth--keep out the cold and wind.
Of course these kinds of "Liners" can be worn for less frigid seasonal weathers
While Running, Hiking, Biking, Walking the dog around the lakes.
Warm & functional5
Purchased as a gift for my brother-in-law. He loves them (also got him the hood). Still able to work on cars and in his shop - reports that the gloves and hood keep him toasty while working outside in the frigid Wisconsin winter.
not for bikers3
If you ride a motorcycle in cold weather and heard that these are great for it, you've heard wrong. They're terrible - I went out in 50 degree weather, and I didn't go above 40 for the whole ride - my hands went numb. I wore these underneath a set of regular bike gloves, and they were meant to serve as an aid since its usually sub-30 when I ride, and my hands get numb at around that temperature. The gloves actually made me colder - I can ride at 50 without getting cold, and my fingers still numbed out that day, the only difference being the gloves. They're great at moisture wicking, but terrible at keeping you warm. Hence, 3 stars.
